True Health & Wellness through the Art of Life Science
MOA Maui is located in Kahului and serves the greater community of Maui County. MOA Maui is a non profit association that promotes cultural activities that serve the health and well being of the community. Volunteers of MOA Maui serve individuals, homes, and society. They develop a deep sense of gratitude and purpose that comes with serving others and working for their collective happiness.
MOA Maui organizes several outreach programs, including health promotion seminars, Okada Purifying Therapy (OPT) certification courses, nature farming workshops (e.g.: composting, nature gardening), flower arrangement classes, and others. Supporters of MOA Maui are actively engaged in the community, working together to creative Families Filled with Beauty.
The Pan-American MOA Foundation was established on the guiding principles of Mokichi Okada (1882-1955) for the purpose of creating a true civilization. Okada's vision of creating a world free of sickness, poverty and conflict ~ an ideal world of enduring peace in which truth, virtue, and beauty is abound ~ is being carried on through the efforts of MOA supporters. This philosophy is mirrored in the many activities that go beyond the scope of religion, race, and nationality. Our success is measured by the worth we add to people's lives as they try to achieve and be part of "families filled with beauty."
Our programs and activities of Okada's "Three Major Enterprises" (Okada Purifying Therapy, Nature Farming & Natural Foods, and Arts & Culture) reflect our commitment to establish this ideal world in society. For this reason, MOA centers are established in Hawaii (Maui, Honolulu, Hilo, Kona, and Kauai), California (Los Angeles, Fresno) and New York (Manhattan). People are welcome to enjoy the therapies incorporating Okada Purifying Therapy, a natural foods diet, therapeutic tea, and flowers on a leisurely visit. This care is continued in household chapters throughout the United States.
